26 trains suggests you had to change at Kennington

I can't find a journey with more than 97 stations, but you can do that number with fewer changes by going via Southwark instead of Borough
(West Ham - Waterloo - Elephant - Stockwell instead of West Ham - London Bridge - Elephant - Waterloo - Kennington -Stockwell)
Seeing as you were recently at Roxbourne Park I'm wondering if you left any stations (eg Rayners Lane) to explore and if so, would that count towards the time total?
At no point did I pass through a gateline, except at Bow Road.
Slight correction - inside the Circle you missed Russell Square in addition to Regent's Park.

Several hours of your life you will never get back
It was a very good book.
Great, now I'm wondering what the longest would be if you included everything on the tube map... and if you included National Rail within the zones too.
You may not forgive yourself, but I should think we would, for treating Euston as two stations in the vein of Bank/Monument!
The total time was 5 hours 25 minutes.

Behold the wisdom of crowds.

Would the Snake Tube Challenge route count (this is 128 stations)?

Epping - Woodford - Stratford (via Hainault) - Waterloo - Elephant & Castle - Stockwell - Victoria - Mile End - Liverpool Street - Moorgate - Bank - Holborn - Leicester Square - Charing Cross - Oxford Circus - Tottenham Court Road - Euston - Kings Cross - Baker Street - Wembley Park (via Jubilee) - Rayners Lane - Ealing Common - Ealing Broadway - Bond Street - Green Park - Gloucester Road or South Kensington - High Street Kensington - Earls Court - Acton Town (via District) - Heathrow T4 - Heathrow T123 - Heathrow T5
No repeats and it’s gateline-free, so yes. It scores big because it manages to include Ealing Broadway to Holland Park.

But it’s not a loop, so on my specific challenge, no.
You can go from Old Street to Highbury & Islington without crossing a gateline or passing through King's Cross by taking the Northern City Line, which would let you include that loop to Finsbury Park and bring the total count up to a to pleasing 101.
You can, but it’s not a tube journey.
I know its not a race but I felt a challenge coming on and did this today starting at Turnham Green. Took 5hrs 35 mins. 26 trains, 1hr 50 interchanging and waiting for trains. Passed through Bow Road at 14:01.
