Surprised at the number of pedestrians in my area wearing masks - you are walking by yourself outdoors on an empty street.
We are still obsessed with cases rather than the severity of the symptoms, 'half of colds could be Covid' sums it up - but the government will still enforce rules that result in randomly shutting down and canceling things at short notice anyway. |

Remind me, how many people have died from the common cold each day for the last four months? We would not be so sanguine if a plane was crashing and killing 100+ people each day.

Absenteeism is the wrong word. It usually means absence from work without good reason. Health workers staying at home to protect others have an excellent reason.
