And unofficially, don't forget Matthew Sommerville's (@dracos) live map of the network, showing where the trains are...

I'm sure someone's turned this into an app, actually. I'll go see if i can find it...

Gottit. Tube checker:

The 'live view' is quite impressive, not perfect but progress and shows how far we've come. What will we have by Total Tubular next year, i wonder?

I do, of course, expect you to go and catch one of these early morning Bow Road Circle line trains, and blog about it, before the week is up.

I've just gone and tried that PDF timetable thingy, and I'm afraid I do not share your experience at all. My local station is South Wimbledon, whence I commute regularly to a station on the Charing Cross branch. This, of course, is a bloody nuisance, because TfL in their infinite wisdom run approximately four such services in the early morning on weekdays only. A timetable informing me exactly when to turn up in order to gain access to such a rare treasure, thus avoiding the obligation to change at Kennington, would be extremely useful. Does the timetable for South Wimbledon mention any such thing? No. I quote: "Services from this station towards High Barnet Underground Station: Monday - Friday: 6am to 11pm: about every 2-5 minutes." Not even a mention of Edgware, let alone Charing Cross. Why is TfL so hellbent on keeping all of the really vital information which passengers need to know a deadly secret?

Perhaps services from Charing Cross which do [i]not[/i] use the Kennington loop would be ideal Tube week fodder?

Eek! That'll teach me not to use the preview button - I thought I was writing in BBCode!
