The neughbour Afghan Road is named after the first country in alphabetical order.
Crikey. Those boxes in Zulu Mews seem to have virtually no natural light.
According to the particulars, the little boxes at Zulu Mews - a quiet cul-de-sac backing onto the railway line near Clapham Junction - have the "added benefit of natural light" upstairs. Which presumably means that downstairs doesn't (each of the bedrooms appears to have a mean little window, but the ensuite bathroom and family shower room (check the plans) do not). And might a direction be in place to stop the garage being turned into a third bedroom?

A million pounds, or £3,000 per month? Wow.
The building at the end of Zulu Mews (though it's actually accessed from Candahar Road) was the house the Apprentices lived in in 2008.
Am I the only one to be rolling "Zulu Mews" around my tongue for a few turns?

London rarely gets so lyrical.
There are plenty of Zulu Mews houses on rightmove for those who want to see inside them.
Gosh. I think Aaron Hill Road looks the nicer of the two, all things considered.
Zulu Mews is next to the similarly pleasingly named Banana Park (reflecting its banane shape - a curiously quiet space despit ebeing in the middle of Battersea, that also has at least two other official names).
So, a little box of the sort that would be a 'starter flat' anywhere 40 or 50 miles outside London is the better part of £3K per month to rent.

That's £36K per year, so one would need to be earning roughly 152% of that (higher rate tax plus NI) or 157% of that (highest rate tax and NI) or somewhere north of £55K just to pay the rental, before utilities, council tax etc etc.

Are people who earn more than £100K per year happy living in this sort of tiny dark box? Really?

Why?
Good lord! That's some unimaginative floor plan. I'll start submitting my resume to architects across London forthwith.
Is there a MYCAT MEWS anywhere?
It looks as though any Zulu Mews resident with a car will need to use the garage for its intended purpose rather than an extra bedroom, as the outside space isn't wide enough for parking.
When do we get Aardvark Alley and the homage to Polish beer that is Zywiec Yard?
Doubtless Zulu mews at http://www.zulukitty.com/.
Another 1 you could do. Perhaps the first town or place in the UK beginning with A and the last with Z

There used to be a little riding school in one of these viaduct curves near Clapham Junction - I'm just trying to figure out whether it was here. The land is obviously worth rather more as housing...
