The beautiful Georgian House you mention in this post was used as offices for many years and was converted back into apartments for residential use a few years ago, It is occasionally able to be viewed on Open House days, also I think you will find its actually located at 4 Brabant Court not Bradbourne Court.

Very enjoyable, thanks DG.

100+ years ago St Magnus the Martyr (last picture) had a glazed East window. It was removed for internal 'improvements' and it seems that no one knows its fate.

So interesting that your photos of the bridge record the very moment that one carriageway is lit by high pressure sodium, and the other by light-emitting diodes (LED). And whereas the HPS lanterns are more decorative than a standard fitting, the newer LED lanterns are just run-of-the mill common or garden style.

I recently had a bit of a wander round some of this area, and found that the low mid-morning sun reflecting off 120 Fenchurch Street gave a fascinating green glow on everything - not sure if it makes it this far west but certainly one to look out for when you make it to Billingsgate.
