Charming, and a world away from yesterday's Euston Road.
This was my standard bike route to work during strikes in the 80s, with swathes of”cycling prohibited” signs - before mayor Livingstone got to work.
Quite agree charming.
Some wonderful glimpses of a Hackney I never realised could be so enchanting! I've got a good mind to do that walk myself, sometime.
Always a pleasure to have you pay a visit to my neck of the woods.

In the department of "You Learn Something New Every Day" : I've been down / across Churchwell Path literally thousands of times in the 20+ years that I've lived here and I'd never heard of - never mind noticed - Blind Fred's plaque.
A nice way of exploring some parts of Hackney most people would miss, but I'm slightly struggling to see the point otherwise of all this effort to produce a walking route that links a few parks. Especially as the waymarked route doesn't then make the most of many of these parks anyway.
I enjoyed the post, but was upset to read the quite cruel line 'not a convalescent playing hide and seek'.
Thanks for that, I lived in Haggerston and all these places and parks are familiar and indeed beautiful and relaxing.
The Green Link Walkway sounds like a right dog's dinner of a walk. Poorly signed, missing or avoiding nice area to enjoy and obviously more concerned with commercial interest than a healthy walk though London. Someone should take this walk and start again with it's routing and implementation.
