Crossrail may take over from the new Berlin Airport as a textbook example of how not to run a project.
The way they've always been over-optimistic and extremely economical with information about delays has ensured the maximum amount of disappointment. This is no way to do good PR. And since the boss must ultimately control the PR, it makes me suspicious about the competence of the whole thing.
Trains could still stop at Bond Street, just not open the doors, so no new timetable.
Strange that the Custom House bus stop mentions DLR but not the other line.

If the bus is not yet operating they could have employed a sophisticated technique such as putting a bag over the sign.
Northern Line trains no longer give out any information at Tottenham Court Road so it looks as though the mention of Crossrail (Elizabeth Line) has been recorded and ready for use.
The tongue-in-cheek tone which is such an appealing feature of this blog is alive and well, I see. Starting with "We are definitely less than six months away".
What a shambles, indeed a disgrace the way the original opening date was postponed WEEKS before it was meant to happen, and only for a few months, then a few months more, then a few months more...when large parts of Crossrail back in 2018 were several years away from being ready.
Bus stop - my reading of 'Custom House Station DLR' with the DLR italicized, is that its the station which is Crossrail and the extra thing is DLR.

Otherwise it could show 'Custom House DLR Station', I'm not sure to what extent it's worth continuing to show DLR as a separate entity.
For the record, my gut feeling is for a May opening so I'm not holding my breath yet.
That said, I was making plans yesterday to visit London on 2nd April and if Crossrail did happen to be freshly opened I might just have to alter them to fit it in.
Have the opening coincide with the Platinum celebrations around 3rd June. Maybe Her Maj could do the honours for her eponymous line. Horace Cutler would be beaming in his grave.
Being staff, I have signed up for one of the evacuation exercises and I'm looking forward to it!
Where can I find the outcome to this consultation?

Trains will probably slow down at Bond Street to avoid catching up the train in front. This happened at Cannon Street when it used to close on Sundays.

The January progress update video is here.
Sunday update: Trial Operations has been using the Pudding Mill connection to Stratford for the first time.
Tuesday update: Canary Wharf has finally been handed over to TfL. Just Bond Street to go.
Having been mystified by the whole Crossrail concept for years, the penny suddenly dropped when I saw a photo of a train waiting at Reading station, ready to plunge eastwards and (ultimately) underground. So as one "late to the party" I can only scratch my head as to why so much effort has been put into west to east routes, when usage must be so much more heavy amongst those travelling between south and north. I know there is now (for example) a Horsham to Peterborough through route, but the drudgery of traipsing between (for example) Waterloo and Euston will, we assume, continue...
cau1khead: an E-W alignment has more key destinations; Heathrow, West End, The City, Canary Wharf so makes sense. The Central Line also had some of the highest level of crowding over the longest section. Crossrail 2 was aimed as improving the SW-NE linkage which is imprints t but that will be paused indifferently.
