Looks great! Shame they didn't keep the lightbox though, apart from it saying Metropolitan Line it looks a lot clearer than most modern screens...
Shame the narrow wooden overbridge didn't survive. It looks like it should have been listed.
Unless your photo is very deceptive, the gateline looks a little inadequate for the vast open spaces to handle the crowds, compared with the other Crossrail stations.

I wonder how many crossrail posts you've managed now, and whether that's more or less than you managed about the Olympics before they opened.
I do hope the lightbox went on to a new life at the transport museum.

I really hadn't realised just how long the whole process of converting the station had been.
Impressive, especially as from the outside it still looks much the same (from memory)!
Has someone already unearthed/seen/created an updated station layout or perhaps even an axonometric/3D diagram?
The long walk to the Overground ... part of TfL's policy to replace all convenient accesses and interchanges with the longest possible routes to inconvenience as many people as possible for the greatest time. The Central line at Holborn. All the signposted routes at King's Cross St Pancras. Bond Street to the Jubilee. Victoria to the Victoria line. And so on.
Long walks for interchange. Yes, maybe some are over the top. But there really is a safety benefit in having plenty of space for occasional crowds to expand into.

The new Whitechapel does look rather impressive. It will have a big task to do though, when Crossrail finally opens.
An amazing transformation! And a great opportunity for some symmetrical - or failing that near-symmetrical - photo compositions.
The Costa to the left of the station entrance was the original District line station entrance, the current entrance was built for the East London line
There, it would seem, a lift G. Making for (at least) 7 elevators. A full map of the lift system has yet to be found!
I’m really interested in what’s happening at Canary Wharf. It used to be one the ‘most complete’ stations.
Some unimpressed responses on Twitter:

i) Blimey. It looked nicer before the upgrade.
ii) I can't say I like it. Too Jubilee Line for Whitechapel.
iii) Sadly yet another grey station. Do the designers have no colour in their lives?

But also 75 ❤️s.
Wimbledon Park’s lifts came into service last Friday. Granted they’ve been broken most of the time since then….

Whitechapel now has ten lifts, I believe it’s six public, and four are in non public areas.
Paddington Crossrail Station would provide additional access to the Bakerloo line, so potentially still might be opened, a bit like Farringdon, for that purpose.
Just back from holiday and we went for a walk through the station as we live on Durward Street opposite the now closed temporary station. We were very impressed. We also like the little Durward Street entrance.

The only thing we're really not happy about was what we learnt at a Crossrail liaison panel meeting for residents before going away, namely that it will be a whole year before the temporary station entrance is dismantled. This is apparently because of a screw-up by Crossrail/LU in forward planning. The Crossrail CEO was at the meeting and admitted as much. Thing is that holds up the making good of the immediate vicinity (putting in a little park instead of the old bus stand) which has been occupied by building works for nearly a decade. We're also trying to get a little statue of Joseph Merrick put in to distract from the unwelcome focus on Ripper tours.
