Glad that you had a great day out for your birthday. You had the best weather for taking photos out doors, sunshine and cold keeps the crowds away.

Never mind pretty pictures of Cambridge. When are we going to get a travelog of the delights of Route 46 ?

Back to the old alma mater, eh, DG?

Glad you had fun, although I am wondering if your right leg is longer than your left? Or had you lunched well?

My home city!

Love the way the sun is shining on the tower in the second picture. Beautiful. Glad you enjoyed your special day.

Happy birthday! I study in Cambridge, and I always find it a real shame that people always take the 'generic' photos of King's College, but don't explore other bits of the town. There are some very pretty colleges and other buildings out of the centre, but they tend to get neglected.

We spent ten hours wandering all around the centre of Cambridge, but the magic burst of sunshine only occurred during the ten minutes we were walking through King's, sorry.

Beautiful pictures, DG. And Happy Birthday.

Oh - I used to live there from '94 up to '99. I'm really glad that nothing seems to have changed and they even kept the old, derelict buildings.

Lovely photos! We took our eldest there recently as she has grand hopes of studying there in the future....expensive taste!
