I was going to do a similar thing (regular photo) from what I think has to be the best publicly accessible viewpoint - the Stratford multi storey car park. But then I realised that would mean I had to go there every couple of months and could think of little more depressing. Thanks for taking up the challenge!

I wonder how long buses will be allowed to venture the olympic perimeter - the Parcelforce/Royal Mail building in West Ham is still being demoished, so some way from being their new home.

Thank you for keeping us informed of the Olympic site developments.
Look forward to seeing the 2 monthly photos from the bridge over Marshgate Lane.

Do we know when the new allotment site will be ready? It didn't look anywhere near so last week!

'Cola Cola'?

Maybe if they do not allow the long buses to venture the olympic perimeter they could at least allow the standard length ones.

Any chance of before and during comparison pictures?

Those graphics, and especially that typeface, are really starting to annoy me. And there's still 1767 days to go. It's as if they got someone to rework 'Comic Sans' with only straight lines allowed.
sigh

A bit late on this one, but I discover that more than 2 million people have been displaced by Olympics in last 20 years, according to the Geneva-based Centre on Housing Rights and Evictions. Or have you covered that already?

And less than a tenth of one percent of those people have been Londoners. The great majority were either South Korean or Chinese.

Yeah, I wasn't suggesting they were all in London! But it amazes me that this sort of displacement is considered a reasonable exchange for the questionable dividends of the Holy Games.
