That must mean random jamjar time. I'm sure you'll cope in Westminster but good luck if it's Barnet...

What? Something against the Bees? Conference Champions in 2005! Now mid League Two! (There's something sporting). Or the... okay, I'm stumped

Show us the jam jar!

Sadly there is not a lot to do in Waltham Forest now the dog track has gone. There's the woefully underfunded transport museum and pump house at South Access Road, there's the William Morris museum (which I haven't bothered with TBH) - there ARE places to go nearby but not really in the borough. The only hotels are B&Bs or else they are more of a hostel, full of homeless people waiting to be rehomed. It's a shame, because I do love where I live, but there are a few areas in which it can't compete. On the other hand, I can always pop to Stratford or even into town - it's not like we are in the middle of nowhere.

Waltham Forest's website IS good for residents - telling me quickly when my next brown bin collection is, new planning applications in my area, and so on. Very effective for that and I use it often. Just not geared up for tourism (because sadly, we don't have much to offer).

Barnet's gorgeous! (OK, I'm biased, I live here...). Lots of beautiful scenery and walks to do in areas like Totteridge, admittedly not so great when the weather's crummy. And yes, the Barnet council website is crapmungous.

If you're coming to Barnet, enjoy!

I'm amazed Westminster is so crip! Maybe they feel everyone visiting already knows what to expect!

Not suprised about Barnet, though perhaps you'll open my eyes for me!

Heh, Sutton's site probably took more effort than the other 0 and 1 star ones. It's just that it's a bit ugly and there aren't actually any tourist attractions in Sutton.
