I was not expecting to start my Saturday with the thoughts of glowing glutes.
😄 That reads exactly like one of my Saturdays! Have you been following me?
Well, maybe not every Saturday

..no running, gym etc, but the mini cheddars

you’re spot on there! 😂 đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»
It's good but it's no Gregg Wallace!
I wonder what the Telegraph's editors thought when they received Gregg Wallace's "My Saturday" copy? Did they warn him how it might be received? Or did they actively stoke the publicity? Whatever you think of him - and his admittedly stunning lack of self-awareness - it's clearly done him a lot of harm.

Desert Island Discs - which ought to be above reproach - sometimes seems to me to be highlighting comments from its guests in order to maximise controversy.
5am, all this must be a load of bolx. You would grind the beans first!!
I believe the "Creme Egg for afters" at least.

Wonderful start to the day - many thanks.
I've often thought the same about Amy Lamé. And she does the same link at about 6:10 and 7:10 every show. Let's crack on, shall we?

I wonder what her Saturday looks like. Still in bed at this hour, no doubt.
My!!

The lifestyle of a celebrity blogger!

Did you even suspect it would be that glamorous when you started?
I believed every word, until the idea of clubbing at 10pm. You'd be 4-5 hours early! Are you pulling our collective legs?
I wonder what percentage of this, if any, is true.
And rattling on the roof I must have heard the sound of rain
The day before you came
11am is verging on the plausible!
I don’t often read the My Saturday things as don’t get the Telegraph but was at my in laws the other days and saw Greg’s entry. Good to see it’s being ridiculed!
5am. Still have an open mind
7am. Severe doubts creeping in
9am. Belief suspended

Like the Abba thing going on.
For the readers who still can't believe that dg would lampoon them, I was almost suckered in, until he 'visited' Sutton, "London's most interesting borough never fails to delight".

{supressed mirth}

Having pondered for a good 10 minutes or so, perhaps dg could be referring to the preparatory works for the double tracking from Sutton to Belmont. On the other hand, ...
rolls eyes
Mile End parkrun has just been changed to avoid the canal path, but you'll know that.
Who is Greg Wallace?
Oh, you’ve linked to Gregg’s My Saturday article in the opening link - Bravo!
A fairly normal and quiet day by the look of it - presumably saving your energy for Sunday
I suspect that you have slipped a small number of truths among the general mockery. Not many, but I wonder what they are.
I applaud the way the lad-cheering is curtailed at half-time to allow for a relentless dash to the West-End hotel. Bravo, indeed!
With Lent approaching, I am sure there is scope for you to drop certain activities and to start using your time more efficiently at weekends!
Not quite the 'Day In The Life' I was expecting!

5am: Suspicions aroused by the mention of a primed cafetiere!

6-9am: laughing out loud

10am: 'roll my eyes at some of the comments people have left' - first believable sentence of the day!

Roll on April 1st!
JohnA 7.34. I imagined a stunned silence followed by extended hysterical laughter.
rogergh 9.32. I had the ABBA/Blancmange thing as well.
Michael 10.34. You've omitted a g, he gets annoyed about that.
Bravo 👏! You’re wasted here. Get your CV to Private Eye pronto!
I did actually finish the prize crossword today (which required knowledge of 17th century poets and the currency in Honduras).
