The national media too seem to have ignored Clays Lane, perceiving it as unsexy, unlike the Allotments with their articulate and colourful advocates.Not that I don't also sympathise with their plight. Perhaps if upmarket restaurant owners had lived in Clays Lane, there would have been more (moro?) coverage. I miss the 308 bus calling at the Clays Lane stop. Look up the estate on YouTube.
