We could have stickers printed up...
Presumably we’ll get a new roundel with CABLE CAR on the crossbar. If the shade of red is associated with Emirates, did the original deal specify a change of colour once it runs out?
I hereby suggest:
The Boris Johnson Useless Dangleway
Why don the interchanges say "Elizabeth line" and not Elizabeth? It looks so bizarre next to "Central" and "Jubilee"
London Cable Khan – for the suspense
Does it really need a picture of a cable car on it?
The associated Emirates Aviation Experience will permanently close on Sunday 5 June 2022.
I wonder how cheaply you could buy the rights. A bit of a crowdfunder could see my Dangleway corporation snatch up the rights.
For fans of Battersea Power Station station, the signs suggest we’ll have the Elizabeth line line.
Johnson Sans Purpose
I wonder if your Prince Regent picture is an answer to London Reconnections line from earlier this week...

"On the fifth day (of this week): look to the East. If the Elizabeth Line is opening in May, then the signs (in some cases, quite literally) will emerge then."

Now take it off the Tube map.
Not easily or unambiguously abbreviatable.
LCC already has multiple London connotations including transport, CC too, and something like LoCaCa will hopefully never catch on.

If they included the full title in the roundel, it would beat Elizabeth Line by number of characters. Likely to be just Cable Car for the roundel. I'd contribute to a Dangleway crowdfund campaign!
Had to laugh in the Wikipedia link that TfL were pinning their hopes on Storm Eunice damage so they could close it down without losing face! But instead it took out the Millennium Dome and left the Dangleway unscathed!
That's the problem with "naming rights" in general, the hassle of changing every reference to the name when the sponsor changes.

Interestingly both the London Stadium and the new Spurs stadium were meant to be sponsored, but are still yet to find one, which makes me wonder whether the market isn't there, or they are holding out for too much money. "Tottenham Hotspur Stadium" has been the temporary name for 3 years now...
I would certainly like it to be called "The London Dangleway"
No more luxurious champagne flights over the Thames by Emirates from a dock area to North Greenwich? It did interest me that we could use our Oysters to travel on a private airline flight. Oh yes, we use the Oyster card for private train lines too.

I've always liked your name Dangleway but London Cable Car sounds very appropriate.
I didn't know the Dangleway was really called Emirates Air Line, but if I had come across that as an outsider, I'd have probably thought it was only for use of airline customers: it would have put me off using it.

Thames Cable Car might have been more descriptive. London's a big place, it could be useful to be told which bit it traverses. Just saying.

As long as it doesn't become something like the Ann Summers Suspenderway ...
Time to look for a new sponsor for Gillespie Road next.
My only interest here is that how can we work together to make it officially named The London Dangleway. Seriously.
I thought TfL were going to scrap it as soon as they found someone to take it off their hands.
Why do the interchanges at West Ham include Underground roundels? The line names in their relevant coloured blocks should suffice.
The "Southend" interchange looks like it is specifically for travel to the airport, rather than singling out Southend as just one of many places that can be reached by interchanging at Stratford.
Johnson's Zipwire
December timetable change at best.

Going after utmost reduction of fault rate inevitably drives up delay somewhat exponentially.
