To me the greatest cartoonist is Peter Brookes of the Times who is going to be in his element if BoJo wins. Any of his (earliest) material included?
I visited the previous location but found it uncomfortably cramped and difficult to navigate. As the new location looks more spacious, I'm planning a revisit.
Ah, Spitting Image, how we need you right now. Dead Ringers just isn't good enough.
I visited the cartoon museum, back in 2012, I remember it got very crowded very quickly. Which made a long visit to properly view the exhibits impossible. These new premises look a far better location, I will visit again.
The new location isn't much more spacious than the old, and might also get crowded very quickly if visitor numbers were high.
We've already got Spitting Image - just switch on the news and wonder at how they are already parody figures, being rude and getting up to silly nonsense. Our largest EU parliamentary party contingent could well adopt the Deckchair song as their anthem and win even more votes. On the other hand, we could do with a successor to Bremner Bird & Fortune. They were brilliant at popping some of the Blair era hubris. Not cartoony, admittedly, but effective.
I remember a cartoon that was in the newspaper my grandad read (probably the S*n) which had a little dog hidden in it that you had to try to find - a bit like the later 'Where's Wally'. I want to say it was Giles, as that granny in the first picture looks familiar so maybe it was her.

Googled it - seems it was Rigby. :)
@Cornish Cockey. (Carl) Giles was in the Express. His cartoons are archived at the University of Kent at Canterbury. https://www.cartoons.ac.uk/
