"Bearded men in aprons."

Every time I see a food handler with a beard I just cringe.

Very few food-serving outlets are making men net facial hair as they do head hair - but they should. I strongly suspect that facial hair is much worse than head hair as a source of contaminants.
I went, walked all round the park for the first time, and thoroughly enjoyed myself. However Bow Road train indicator virus is spreading. On the way home Bow Road DLR indicator stated 'Canary Wharf 4 mins' as the train pulled in to the platform, but corrected itself as the doors closed!
Please... "Bagels" are US-originating enlarged corruptions while "beigels" are little round pieces of paradise, especially when warm, crusty and fresh.

Please, no more "bagels" when "beigels" are what's really there, unless they're made to to US formula of little taste, aerated dough to bloat the size and only fit for fillings. At least beigels can be eaten on their own...

Apart from that, the market's quite pleasant and the beard ratio tolerable.

End of pedantic bleepery.

@Blue Witch, in the mid 60s my then husband applied for a (temporary) job driving a grocery delivery van, was told he'd have to shave his beard off if he was handling food, even though it was packaged. It still amazes me to see beardies cooking or serving food, presumably there's no law against it but it seems unpleasant.
