Great thanks!
You've saved me a lot of time-wasting reading articles that fail to live up to the hype.
Yes, really helpful; please keep it up. Particularly troubling is phrasing headlines as questions (the tube strike examples): turning ‘news’ websites into FAQs now. Can it be stopped? (Click here to find out)
This is marvellous! Both entertaining and informative. Lord Reith would be proud.
I don’t think I had realised how much of this clickbait twaddle was out there.
And wonder if they have evidence this daftness works - wouldn’t it be such a bad idea just to say ‘Sissinghurst in Kent is a nice place to go, find out more here’
(No idea if it is a nice place, but as it appears twice on your list…)
Hahaha!
The Eastcote House Gardens wisterias are very nice when they're out, but the "tunnel" is about 20 feet long!! Don't travel to see it!!!
However the wisterias at NT Greys Court near Henley are massive, and are worth a visit!!
Worse still are the clickbait adverts that have the start of a sentence then...
When you click they rarely finish that sentence. I still don't know why solar panels are only worth having if (something), and I've managed to train myself never to click however intriguing they might occasionally seem.
They claimed "Exact date 20C heat will hit London in new forecast" would be next Friday, but it turned out to be today. Muppets.
I'm surprised to see Eastcote described as West London: I wouldn't have put anywhere there that's north of Central Harrow.
Love this, very public spirited.
