Fascinating data and well presented!
The number of days in each month from May to September in the maximum daily temperature table seems to have gone awry, though.

Agree about the nice charts. Not as easy as it may seem to present such data graspably.
I notice that, using the definition you have chosen, we are coming not just to the end of a year, but also to the end of a decade. That seems rather noteworthy to me.
As an example of regional differences, my street in NW London had such a hailstorm a week or two ago, it looked like it had snowed!

It'd be nice to have links back to your other annual weather round up posts for a decade long comparison.
Are they on the 29th Dec each year?

That weather station is fascinating, especially as it's quite near where I live

The autumn this year has been very wet, largely making up for what had been a rather dry year. Up to August the rainfall for the year was at 71% of "average" whereas after 4 wet months it's now at 91%.

November has to be one of the dreariest months ever for weather, the normal amount of rain but falling on 26 out of the 30 days!

...and in another regional difference, I was quite happily wearing shorts in North Wales at the end of February, and I'm not even a postie!
The difference between Jan 2014 and Nov 2019 is that the former was an incredibly wet month, with rainfall at 257% of average so you'd expect lots of rainy days, whereas the latter had the normal amount of rain, but spread really evenly with several days with just a tiny amount of drizzle...
I remember the funny weather we were having in February. There was one day (the 23rd) that started out foggy and then all of a sudden became very sunny and reasonably warm. I can safely say that is the only time I have ever worn a t-shirt in February!
Fascinating to see the data laid out like this.
The ultimate retrospective 2019 UK weather summary here:

2019 managed to include the UK's warmest ever February day, warmest ever December day and warmest day on record.

As Hampstead is quite a bit higher than my station, which is a bit of a frost hollow, there are some interesting comparisons. And show why London is a collection of villages.
