It is a great exhibition, but I think my favourite so far was the Cornish art two years ago (rather than Cambridge last year, and William Morris in 2012).

Did you mean "grime capitalists"? Grim or grimy, perhaps?
Indeed a fascination exhibition, but I'd be a bit miffed if I'd gone to the museums in Blackburn, Accrington and Burnley and found half their stuff missing!
I think it is somewhat less than half their stuff! No doubt they have taken the opportunity to take some things out of storage for special display and/or arranged temporary loans from elsewhere.
The disgraceful Large Blue Chicken is gone.

A permanent place on the fourth plinth deserves to honour Alan Turing and Tommy Flowers, who conceived and built the Colossus computer in Bletchley Park.

With the 70th anniversary of the end of World War Two approaching, the opportunity presents itself to announce a tribute has been commissioned.
