Tracing the route on Google Maps as I read, and scrolling (before reading the paragraph), getting to Bow Brickhill, I declared, "Oh, Red Bull."

I did once go and watch a race (telecast) at the Williams factory in Grove, Oxfordshire. We went by train to Didcot Parkway, and then a cab from there, rather than the 3 hour walk.
St Mary's in Marston Moretaine has a separate church tower which is unusual and local legend says was pushed away by the devil. I heard that the church has a blocked entrance which was because the village moved from Jubilee Cottages area due to the plague. There's also a 'moated' building which used to be a farm and then a posh restaurant.
Bedford sounds horribly similar to Huddersfield. We too have lost our Marks & Spencer which became a B&M, a BHS which is soon to be demolished in the name of urban regeneration, and a House of Fraser, whose departure was the starting gun for converting the former unit into a cinema and leisure offering.
For several years B1 GAY was attached to a high-powered Range Rover moored outside the same venue, so its relocation to an electric BMW seems like a celebration of quiet climate progress.
We really do have a great history of missed meeting opportunities!

I lived in Marston Moretaine for a decade!

(Also worth noting, Captain Tom's place is up for sale for the princely sum of £2.25m)
The Higgins is the only reason I visit Bedford; Bawden is great, and I always leave having had an inspiring time.
There's another Millbrook station just west of Southampton, which I think is better known and certainly has a better train service.
Millbrook in Bedfordshire is perhaps best known for its car proving ground which is just south of the station, a massive facility that is very visible from aerial photos.
Amusingly 'Wootton' has been spelt 'Wooton' on the rail map. I believe Wootton is correct
I travel regularly from Fenchurch Street to visit my father, and whenever I start typing the station name into the National Rail app it also suggests Fenny Stratford. I've always wondered about the place, and now I know it's not worth a visit :-)
There's a drone video on YouTube that shows the new high levels platforms at Bletchley pretty much complete.

I once took a journey on a through ticket from Silkstone Common to Bow Brickhill. It did feel as if I could travel on any train in any direction and not be challenged as most staff wouldn't know where either station actually was.
Will be interesting to see what the marginal costs of an additional MML station at Wixams will be. I suspect Universal, used to just building it and letting the locals pick up the “check”, might be surprised. Not just the fully accessible station, but additional rolling stock and probably signalling/track alterations. Then there are the time impacts of an additional stop. However, could be quite a nice little earner for Thameslink.
