The saving of Dorich House was a triumph for Kingston University. My husband was a member of the Board, so I was a +1 at a small dinner to mark it's initial refurbishment. It was impressive then, but is clearly even better now. I must go again soon.
The living accommodation areas look nice and probaly enjoy good views of Richmond Park.
Not sure if I would like a house with a flat roof as they tend to be troublesome with leaks. Interesting that from your photos it seems the gas central heating boiler in small building on the roof.
That's quite fantastic!
I went many years ago and agree with you, its a gem.
This GEM has gone straight to the top of my to visit list.
It is, as you say, a splendid place. Dora Gordine was responsible for the plaque to Sun Yat-sen in Warwick Court near Gray's Inn.
Well for all the times I've been up and down Kingston Vale I can't say I've ever seen it. Even more surprising as I was normally all over anything art deco.

Sometime I am back in West London I must make a detour and see it.
