I left my baby and it feels so bad
Guess my race is run

I fought the law and the law won

RIP photostream

I do hope you can continue, I love that photoset

I noticed those bus stops too (as did my wife) and strangely neglected to mention them when mailing you later (denial?).

Fingers crossed for the photostream!

:o)

I'm also hoping that you do manage to continue that photo series.

It was bound to happen some day, it would have been a miracle if the run had continued uninterrupted with all that redevelopment going on... Maybe another photostream will evolve from this.

Talking of redevelopment and photos, I'd recommend the Robin Hood Gardens exhibition at RIBA on until next week. Some fantastic, evocative photography of these eyesores/monuments to 20th Cen progress (delete as appropriate) and they captured a real flavour of the East End. Some of the architecture students' explorations of what could replace the blocks were extremely thought-provoking.

I also hope that your series of bridgetop photos will continue, Just to alay any fears about the "Bus Shelters" I have been reliably informed that they are in place for the sole purpose of giving shelter (if needed) to the security personel who now patrol along the top of the Greenway in their bright yellow coats, by the way I have also been told that most of the security guards are actually ex-Gurkhas, but I cant vouch if that is true or not.

A fascinating photostream. A lot of changes have occurred at the Olympic site over the past few years, and your photos show that brilliantly.

Is not worth contacting the powers that be to see if you would be allowed special access until D Day in 2012? Someone from the Committee must have read your blog. The information collected by you has just the type of contemporaneous and historical significance that might make the difference. You actually champion the Olympics unlike some so Lord Seb might help...

Aww that's a shame. It's amazing to look back on just how much the area has changed.

Good idea Amused. That's quite a legacy of photos you have there DG.
