I've lived in West Yorkshire over 25 years and have been to both Castleford and Wakefield once.
Castleford is the sort of place you go to only if you have a reason to, rather than speculatively. Well, not more than once, anyway. Wakefield is much more pleasant, and I have been meaning to re-visit for some time. Now you've reminded me that I have a good reason to do so. |

The Chantry Chapel on the bridge is well worth a visit too, for anyone going that way.
