Yes, it's very nicely done, as one would expect at the V&A, with the dark brown wood surrounds giving an appropriate atmosphere.
However, I was a little disappointed at the (small) scale of the furniture area. Since the ceramics galleries seem to go on and on and on and on..., I guess I was expecting more from furniture.
I was there a few weeks back and adore the furniture gallery...some wonderful pieces.
I love tiles, and hence the ceramics gallery.
But I like them even better in pubs.
Have not yet reached the upper floors despite numerous visits, I tend to keep going back to the silver and gold galleries and the small shows they put on in nearby rooms... and I am always in awe of the Ceramic staircase, which I show to everyone I ever go with - jaws invariably drop.
Would just take small issue that it's a novelty for the V&A to explain manufacturing processes. See the silver section which have videos showing a smith creating objects, and the British section, the bit where that very old bed is, there is a lot of stuff about manufacturing there too.

A lot of their displays will also generally reference build techniques too. I'm pretty sure the statues and other pieces in that corridor adjacent to the garden do this, and also the medieval/rennaisance gallery.
