Interesting, thank you.
I've never heard of the Red Cross Garden - or is it the Redcross Garden? (as it's on Redcross Way)
It is the Red Cross Garden.
My favourite place in London. I love the fact you can sit in a little, quiet garden and still be only a few yards from the heart of London. Thanks for writing about it.
Thank you DG. Fascinating.

On the Bankside Open Spaces Trust website I found a link to a walk, with map, showing not only this garden but several others that the Bankside group champion. I’m saving that up for a nice day.
Just down the road from my work and a lovely green space to enjoy when the weather is decent.

There appears to be a change in the house style of the DG blog composition today.
The garden is indeed a lovely space for office workers to relax in but very busy in the warmer months as might be expected.

The pond was tidied up in the autumn as it was quite overgrown. Looking forward to the annual checking in on the resident toads and frogs as they start family life. Also waiting to see if ducklings turn up this year, ducks often do but I've never seen any offspring.
Wow, been near there 100s of times, but never knew about that garden!
A perfect example of why I'm so glad you persist with this blog ~ & why I never fail to read it. Thank you, DG.
