I may yet be able to include it in the elephant series...

The trademark and copyright guy - he was probably looking out for (non-permissioned) professional camera equipment on people visiting. That's my guess anyway.

Also, I suspect that the "O2" stage configuration was a temporary feature put in for the staff Premiere event. I can see the "O" bit remaining though. It provides for a sort of yuppie "mosh pit" for concert-goers.

Also, I think the place itself is open every day to all, there's no entrance fee. (Free until you pay for something anyway.)

Despite not being an employee I was lucky enough to be invited to the 'secret' launch on Saturday night.

It really is far too cramped on the plaza - and there's only one set of toilets out there. You will be brainwashed by the extreme amount of O2 branding too.

The arena is great though. The live show was fantastic ending in a spectacular pyrotechnics display and Basement Jaxx at their best!

Sadly no moshing is allowed, not even for yuppies...

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in customers being asked to leave a Venue:

• standing on seats or in any walkways;
• excessive noise;
• crowd surfing and moshing;

"I'm not convinced that North Greenwich needs another multi-screen cinema (there are 11 screens here to add to 18 more just half a mile down the road"

We'll have it! There is only one Multi screen cinema in North Wales!

Working for the company that owns the 18 screen cinema round there, and knowing what a lovely doughnut cinema it is, I hope the signage for Vue stays as bad so people give up and go down the road

I'm sticking with the Greenwich Picturehouse, me. None of that O7 malarkey.

I wouldn't be surprised if there are people with special hi-vis yellow jackets with "mosh prevention team" written on back.
