For what it's worth, Internet Explorer 11 shows the same as your Firefox for me; and has done for the past month.
don't work in IE9 either
And this...

https://twitter.com/stnmasterapp/status/512142097336766464

is what i see. Someone responded to me on twitter saying that they were aware and they were fixing it. That was on Monday...

A line of code that says "If ALL_LINE=$Not,'Good Service'" then display a box that all is not good takes more than a week to fix, apparently...

Thanks heavens for a new and improved website, eh?
If you want to know what's happening.

1) Use Chrome

2) Press the F12 key

3) Choose "Network"

4) Open up https://www.tfl.gov.uk/tube-dlr-overground/status/

5) Look for anything shown in red text.
Which is

"[blocked] The page at 'https://www.tfl.gov.uk/tube-dlr-overground/status/' was loaded over HTTPS, but ran insecure content from 'here - this content should also be loaded over HTTPS."
But this is the internet, which is wonderful, the truth and the future of everything (blinks in dismay and disbelief).
Funny you should mention the TfL website. Over the past 24 hours the '+' signs to the right of boxes that indicate they can be expanded have been replaced by various non-descript characters that do not appear in any standard font. Sometimes, more bizarrely I get a small green tram symbol. That is using Chrome but when I use Chrome on my phone it looks fine.

All indicating to me that they are trying to be way too clever - and failing.
When you view the status page in Firefox, there should a shield icon to the left of the location bar.

To make the page work again, click the shield icon, and choose "Disable protection on this page" from the button menu.
I hated the revised tfl site when they launched it. I hate it just as much now. But as you say - are they listening....?
As Briantist mentioned and Joachim confirmed, if you go directly to www.tfl.gov.uk/tube-dlr-overground/status/ i.e your link WITHOUT the https prefix, all is well!
I've just about given up with the status pages. The non working map and the dreadful explanatory text for any disruptions. If you think the tube or overground stuff is bad try working out what happens with bus diversions or alterations. We are also still waiting for status maps for most of the other modes.

I am amazed that we are months on and we still have persistent problems with the new website design.
There are people who work at TfL who very definitely read (listen to!) this website, yes...
Does that include their web developers, or are they all too busy sitting there stroking their goatees and admiring each other's MacBooks?

Regards,
A web developer
It may be unrelated, but the tube status reports in Tube Delux app on my i phone doesn't work now, and has been replaced by a note reporting "critical bug fixes" required.
"Your custom really matters to us. Please hold."

Cue Muzak!
Doing what Joachim suggested with Firefox worked for me and the page opened OK.
I have the same issues in Chrome.

The journey planner in the new website is lot slower and less reliable too
On a slightly different tack, have you seen what they have done to the BBC Travel News pages?!

I still use XP and IE8 (can't afford to upgrade yet!) and after the re-design, I am given traffic news relating to Chelmsford despite telling the BBC Weather page that I live in Southend by making it the "starred" location of my favourite locations ("We will use the starred location to give you relevant local information across the BBC.") - and I cannot see any maps.

I complained (using the web form) and got a standard reply saying it DOES work OK with XP and IE8. Also, that the enhancement allows users to zoom in and out on a nationwide map instead of having to jump from area to area. Apparently, I can set Southend as my default location, but there doesn't appear to be any way of so doing.

Everything seems to work fine when I use Chrome.
My '+' characters have returned so I am back to normal. I hope other people's problems get resolved.
I wish I could say I was surprised, but I'm not.

I'm having similar problems getting my Contactless debti card registered. My address is two lines (i.e. 99 Some Court, Some Other Street) but TfL's website will only let me use one of them, before rejecting the registration as the card address and the TfL address don't match.

*bashes head against desk repeatedly*
Working fine for me, but I hardly ever use it, much preferring the Citymapper app on my phone. Which normally works very well.

@ Arctic Troll - I have the same problem with my address, but find that if you put 99 Some Court, Some Other Street all on one line this is normally acceptable.
I'm with IslandDweller on this. I use other pages now, far quicker than Tfl. I used to use the old site but the new one is shite whatever browser I use.
Strangely it works fine in Safari 7.1 with either http or https so Simon's quip might be getting close to the heart of this.
