I feel a similar post in 3 months time will appear........ but backwards..... or even back to the 4th of May.

Back to the Future Marty!
I can’t remember the date, but one of the most significant for us was more than one permitted daily exercise
The lockdown started on 16th March for many things, such as theatres.
As announced by the Prime Minister of England
The other colonies have sought to differ
My church building will not be open any time soon just because the government has decided we can. The precautions we'd have to put in place would render it pointless and unpleasant (no singing, no touching, no close contact with those outside your family, welcomers wearing masks and so on) and bringing together a group of people most of whom are in one or other virus-vulnerable category just seems to be asking for trouble, if indeed they came at all. We'll be sticking with online services, phone calls etc for some time yet.
And, theatres are apparently still not allowed to reopen on the 4th July, let alone musicals where singing would not be allowed it was mooted a few days ago.
Bruce Wayne - All these things happenned in Germany weeks ago, with little effect on the spread of the virus.

The vast majority of the cases are now outbreaks in particular workplaces and housing blocks which can be handled with local lockdowns, rather than it spreading throughout the general population.
Would be interesting to see the weekly total of deaths / cases in a column alongside those dates as well.
Libraries - yay!!! I finally ran out of books this week and have had to buy some, which should tide me over!

Not sure how it's going to work not being able to touch them though.

As for the rest, I didn't visit them before the lockdown either eg last visit to the hairdressers was in 2014!

Please continue to update this as and when, I find it really interesting to see things in one place like this.
TC - Here you go.
The government has now published official guidance on what you can and can't do after 4 July.

I'm intrigued/baffled/disturbed by the practicalities of meeting other households:

"You can meet in groups of up to two households in any location - public or private, indoors or outdoors. You do not always have to meet with the same household - you can meet with different households at different times. However, it remains the case - even inside someone’s home - that you should socially distance from anyone not in your household."

I bet most people overlook the last sentence.
Not directly related, but have you...

dg interrupts: yes
The availability of toilet facilities doesn't feature hugely in these plans, I notice. And because of that, lockdown is essentially still operating in full for many people.
What's intentionally confusing is that we get 'Have a Beer on Boris!' and 'One Metre Monday!' encouraged by Johnson's upbeat speech, yet the pages of actual guidelines paint a very different picture of continued restrictions and work-rounds in the newly liberated locations. The thrust of all this is that it's now up to us to use 'British common sense' and 'understand the risk', while the scientists look on anxiously as Johnson turns out the lights on his last afternoon virus briefing, figuratively washing his hands of the whole thing.
I agree with the comments of Andrew S regarding churches. Our church is currently discussing how to reopen but for me a church service, especially our Methodist one, with no singing allowed, yellow markings on the floor, and no socialising over a cuppa afterwards is not something I am interested in.

Been to Ham House today on the train. Regardless of the rules I would guess 90% of the sparse number of passengers were doing it for pleasure and some of them even wearing face masks. Normal life is returning.
Await the second wave Jonathan

My friend in NZ, has told me they are back to once a day for food and exercise. Not sure if that has been reported on the news.

dg writes: NZ media are not reporting this.

Hold on 'pager' has just gone off!
Apparently they have been notified today...lets see, i would have thought the same too media wise.

Time to get 'the car' out to investigate
Mixed feelings for me.

On one hand, I work on the railway and the percentage of people now wearing masks astounds me - I know people have exemptions that might not be obvious, but on some trains only around 10% of passengers are wearing masks. It worries me that people won't use their common sense and we'll end up with a second peak.

On the other hand, I'm now able to get married and I will be doing so ASAP. (We were due to get married in June but had to postpone, and personal circumstances mean that it'll actually make a difference to our lives).

Regardless, this period will be fascinating for future historians to study...
Many people (though perhaps not here) seem to be confusing "may open" with "must open". Whereas in most places normally open to the public, quite a lot of work has to be done before the first punter can step over the threshold.
Anyone else think the rules have now evolved to be coincident with the rules for 'Mornington Crescent'?
Agree with Mornington Crescent quote.
Any news on the last place deemed safe until final lockdown, but now deemed most dangerous - the swimming pool?

Face masks are unbearably hot, felt I was going to pass out.
As well as toilets opening, water fountains need to open too.
Westfield shops all social distancing inside, but crowded outside.
Bojo says go shop & TfL says stay away.
Crazy.
Bruce Wayne: there are no restrictions of any description applying to those living in NZ, but there significant restrictions for people coming into the country. For those of us in NZ, life is as normal as it can be.
