I rejoice in living in a Starbucks-less postcode. I didn’t realise how rare that was.
The Starbucks that was in Woolwich closed in November 2018 after 10 years
I'm also surprised to see that I, kerspatula, live in a Starbucks free postcode. I wonder what a map of all major coffee chains would look like
Most London postcode districts don't have a Starbucks.

49% of the N/E/S/W postcode districts do.
But once you include all of Greater London the proportion drops to 39%.
The one in SW9 came and went between the two counts.
Is it still true that there's not a single branch in the entire borough of Hackney? I'm pretty sure the one on Cambridge Heath Road is just inside Tower Hamlets.

Any other boroughs Starbucks-free?

No Starbucks in my postcode - but we have a Costa-lotta instead!

I'd be interested in seeing if there were any postcodes that have none of the Big-3 chains in them!
Costa seems to be the new Starbucks for proliferation. Spotted even at Poznan station I Poland (after a night train journey), Barcelonna and Paris CDG.
One in NW3 (on Finchley Road) also came and went between 2 counts (wrong demographic, too much competition).

Also in NW3, the coffee kiosk at the entrance to Swiss Cottage station tried to name itself "Star box" but not using green colour (years before Starbucks arrived in the area).

Got the predictable legal letter, so renamed itself "Red Star Box" (evoking Pret's logo, verbally at least). And thus it remains (for the last few years).
I am not sure when it opened, so it maybe the Starbucks that has disappeared from W6, but the Hammersmith Broadway centre used to have two Starbucks - one by the entrance onto King Street, and one midway through the centre by the McDonald's. The one in the centre closed, though they have opened a new one just down Hammersmith Road, so you still have two Starbucks within a 10 minute walk of each other.
The one in Palmers Green (N13) came and went between counts.
Shame the Barnet one has gone.
SW15 lost its Starbucks when the site was developed. Sadly it's now getting another not so good for you American import, Krispy Kreme.
Google Maps says that SW19 has three, but one of them seems to be fictional.
I'm still shocked that the one in Balham closed. Pre pandemic. I can only assume it wasn't doing the numbers rather than over saturation as the nearest ones are two stops away in Tooting Broadway or Clapham Common -- which has two within minutes of each other.
Now do one for Pret...
