Aaaah, just looked back on your previous red flower thingy posts, and got quite excited about the potential success this year!

...you could have used a knitting needle as support, but doubt knitting is one of your "hobbies"?

@E, I always use knitting needles as props for potted plants, but for those who don't knit a ruler might work, and for smaller plants chopsticks are perfect.
I don't think a knitting needle would be anywhere near long enough, so it's perhaps just as well I don't have one.
