Esher is the station for Sandown Park. On race days it's flooded with revenue inspectors collecting a huge number of one stop beyond fares and fines from those that travel in ignorance that their free over 60s travel only takes them to the previous station.
I think you’ll find Roding Valley station is entirely in Greater London since 1998. If you go out of the northern entrance, the street is in Essex and the h street in Redbridge, but the station is in Gtr London.
Think you need to substitute Chigwell, and because much the same applies at Grange Hill, you have reduced the number of blogs by one.

Will you be including Upper Warlingham station in your Wyhteleafe blog where it is located?
Some trains out of Euston don't stop until Warrington.
And here I was looking forward to a Gatwick blogpost...

I'll be looking forward to the Banstead post for sure.
Will be interested in your observations on Kempton Park if you visit on a race day!
Quite a few stations 60+ Oyster users can get free travel too beyond the Greater London boundary then! Wonder if neighbouring councils contribute to funding this?
London Northwestern stations out to Tring are still waiting for contactless to be introduced - the fares were simplified, the readers have been installed but no date announced for implementation.
I lived in Carpenders Park back when the US Air Force first built homes there for service families around 1960-61. We were one of the first to move in; construction was still ongoing. Know they were demolished around 1998, but I have fond memories of being the only American girl (11 yrs old) train spotter in the area. Actually, I was the only girl train spotter at the time. Wish I still had my notebook.
This post took me back to the 80s as it had the quality of a Sunday newspaper front page that would make you go back to Marble Arch later on a Saturday night in the 80s after the first edition ran such a non-story that you knew a bigger one was coming and they hadn't put it out on the first edition so their rivals wouldn't steal it.
I went one stop beyond twice yesterday - at both Grange Hill and Roding Valley.
