Sounds like a good value City card - I wish more UK places had them.
Small correction, it's "Plantin - Moretus".

I wonder if Antwerp residents have to pay for a card. Different cities seem to have varying policies for residents and visitors. In Venice, locals get affordable vaporetto travel but it is very expensive for tourists. Despite living in a UK countryside, thanks to unitary boundaries I qualify for a free city card giving free museums and discounts (not transport), but there does not seem to be an equivalent for visitors.
York has a York Pass which allows free visits to 25 attractions... but it costs £45, so it's very difficult to get good value in a single day.
Remember that you get between 30% and 50% discount with the ES Belgium extension ticket offer at a number of places, and that the underlying transfer to Antwerp is actually a bit less then €20, therefore, we didn't buy a card (and for other temporary mobility reasons).
Lucky you visiting the Plantin-Moretus Museum -- a place I've wanted to see for a long time.
Interestingly, the typeface Plantin which is still widely used today was not designed by Christophe Plantin but is based on a printed sample of a later French typeface found at the Museum by Frank Pierpont of Monotype in 1913.
It's true, I could have saved €5 by booking a standard return ticket from Brussels to Antwerp rather than travelling via 'Any Belgium Station'.

I can find no evidence, however, that a Eurostar ABS ticket offers any special discounts in Antwerp.
There is a 2€ discount for having possession of a valid rail ticket, the extension, to visit Rubenshuis on their web site.

Originally, we were thinking of going to Oostende where the saving is worthwhile.

In writing this, I am horrified how less and less useful this 'offer' has become. 10 years ago it was good value, not any more...
Told you Antwerp was worth a visit when you first raised the question about where to go in Belgium :)
Since then, I've had a return trip to Belgium of my own. It included Bastogne - which is surrounded by history while being a bit of an "odd" sort of town on its own; and Namur - which seemed great for having a Citadel which included an international standard motocross circuit!!! the first time around, but seemed to be lacking in anything much else when I went back to visit it again.
Pleased to see that Antwerp hasn't been a disappointment
