You shouldn't be so gloomy, this time there are no U-boats, so imports won't be so difficult, don't expect Europe to be paradise either, look at how they reacted to the refugees, imagine what it'll be like for food supplies.
Does the Jubilee Line have floodgates?, haven't the others installed in WW2 fallen into disrepair?

There are no floodgates anywhere on the Jubilee Line. If Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station is ever flooded then the whole of the tube network is at risk. The top of the station box is very close to the level of the normal water level in the dock ...

Unfortunately, those relying on South Western Railway trains will not be evacuated because the RMT have mounted a picket which ASLEF members will not cross. It is because the management will not guarantee that all evacuation trains will have a safety-critical guard aboard.

There ARE floodgates on the Jubilee line. They are housed in the mock Thames Barrier structures south of Canning Town station. They are there to protect the Jubilee line from the River Lea.

I was excited to see that my even numbered postcode was on the list for a food delivery, so I've taken my shoes off again.
Continued reading and am now depressed! I'd go outside for a walk to cheer myself up, but the nice man at the ministry advises against it - even though it looks ok to me.
Better follow the official orders though, to be on the safe side.
