I'm throwing a party at the top of the Orbit this afternoon. Everyone welcome.
Can't believe I forgot your tenth birthday. Blame it on the Olympics. Happy Birthday!
I went up the Orbit last week.

Never mind cake, will there be kittens?
Happy Anniversary!
What's the significance of the 14:56?

Smart move announcing a party at a venue for which you have to have pre-booked Olympic Park tickets to even have a hope of getting into. Not, of course, that I habitually trust any major announcements you make on September 8th...
party at the Orbit? Oh. I thought you might have hired out a Water Chariot for a birthday cruise ...
Happy Decade Blogday!
Happy Decade!
I'll be there! Well, maybe at the bottom coz I don't have tickets for the top, but I'm in the park too. Shouldn't be too many people, bound to see you
I guess this was a major factor in the IOC's decision to locate the games in London. Good luck for the next ten years.
Yay! Here's to another 10 dg - I'm always fascinated by what you have to say.
DG - what was the significance of 8/9/02? For a completist like you it seems a very random date to start!
*waits patiently for the cake to arrive*
Happy Birthday!

I'll be at the park later, but alas no tickets to the party venue itself.
Happy birthday Diamond Geezer!
Nobody does it better. An immense achievement. Happy tenth anniversary!
Congrats DG!
Congratulations on a decade behind the keyboard. Please continue being excellent
Congrats on 10 years. You should be up for the guinness book of records for longest and most regular blogger.
Alway something new and interesting to read. keep up the good work.
Congratulation DG. You and your blog have been a huge inspiration for me over the past decade. Here's to another ten years.
@swirlythingy: 14.56 was the time stamp of the very first post in 2002
Congratulations DG!
I've not been here the full 10 years, though I did read all the past posts once I realiesed what a little gem I'd found here.
Can't wait to see what the next 10 brings. Will there be fireworks from the Orbit too? There should be!
Congratulations, DG - been reading for 9 years, it has been interesting watching your output evolve but, maybe more interestingly, watching the rest of the internet evolve around you - the sites you link through to, the new waves of commenters, it is all subtly different on previous years. Where does all the time go?

Here's to more. Cheers.
All the best, cheers for the first ten and looking forwards to the next ten. Rats, yesterday was our day at the paralympics and somehow we didn't bump into you...or indeed any of the other people we knew who happened to be there.

Excellent cake, cheers!
And I had to leave the Olympic Park early as well! Congratulations - here's to the next 10!
And may the blog continue!
Congratulations DG. Love reading your blog. One of the best.
Happy 10 years. Thanks for your advice on Olympic ticketing, it was invaluable.
Thank you and congratulations. Your writing skill and 'eye' for the story makes you a joy to read.
Happy tenth birthday, DG! Here's to the next ten.
Congratulations on the 10th anniversary of your blog. I am sure there will be a lot to talk about in the next 10 years: The QEOP - West Ham's new stadium - East Wick and East Village- will Crossrail be ready? - will we be building Boris International Airport?
Congratulations! I read you since 2005, well before moving here from the Continent. It's difficult for me to imagine London without your voice. You've single-handedly created an internet classic. A pity for the book you eventually couldn't be bothered to write, but I understand your reasons and I have all the more esteem for you.
Congratulations! I quite like the fact that your blog has reached its ten-year anniversary during the Paralympics (which, in addition to the Olympics, you've been building up to for years).

Surely it can't have been easy to think up of ideas for new blog posts almost every day for a whole decade, but you've achieved it.

I'm now looking forward to seeing what you'll blog about over the next ten years. No doubt there will be many post-Olympic and post-Paralympic topics to write about, as well as Crossrail, the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station and the construction of Boris Airport and/or the third runway at Heathrow.

I'm sure future historians will look at your blog in decades to come to find out what London was like in the early 21st century, particularly as it gives it from the point of view of an individual who was actually there.

Here's to the next ten years! :-)
Happy blogdecade, congratulations, and thanks. I've been reading you almost daily for at least 8 of those years.

Perhaps the Lympics pieces have been even the best yet. But reliably fine, almost always....a great slice of London.
Thanks and well done for all the posts and hard work to achieve your 10 year milestone. I still don't know how you manage to produce a daily blog - the research effort alone must be enormous.

Oh and thanks too for the boost to my Flickr stats when you kindly link to some of my photos.
Thanks for the cake!
Well done mate, here's to the next ten.
Wow, 10 years already. Happy, happy, happy Blogday DG. You help make every day an absolutely pleasure. Cheers buddy.
Chris xx
Happy blog day! Had I been there, I'd have come to say hello. Keep up the excellent writing, DG, many happy returns.
Well I've not been reading for quite 10 years but not far off. I'm amazed and very grateful that you keep it up every day, always a great read.
Congrats, DG!
Congratulations, incredible achievement and long may you continue!
Great venue for a celebration, E20 (and I can't believe I'm writing that!). Biggest party ever last night in the Stadium, glad I could be there!
Happy Birthday. Is there any cake left?
Belated congrats DG.

Again.
