Apparently they're also closing Regent's Street on Sunday, for an event about London transport.
As I understand it, it'll be split into three sections - Past, Present and Future - with the latter giving some pointers towards some of the 'alternative' energies that might be powering more of the things that get us around, in times to come.

There's a billboard for this down the road from my school. Near Bristol. About 3 hours away.
@TubeGeek - yes seen a couple in Bristol promoting this. Even one by my local Tesco (Eastgate). As you say, about three hours away but still minded to go. Or I may go and see Metropolitan 1 steaming it's way down the Dean Forest Railway this weekend.
I really wouldn't bother travelling a long way to visit. I didn't last an hour.
Thanks, DG. Dean Forest it is then!
Won't everybody be in Central London protesting about something or other. Hope there is enough squares for all the differnt protests.
I looked at it from the top of the Orbit, took in the view of London, ground my teeth about that nice lawn they had destroyed, then slid down the slide. Much more fun!
