Re. the Bazalgette tour:

Hmmm, 09:00, 13:00, 17:00

Do you think it is one person who conducts the tour, and has to get all the way back from Bexley in time to start the next one? Make sure you book 09:00 on October 2nd, the other tours might get cancelled when they realise it is physically impossible to do.

Well, if you go to the website mentioned in the PDF it seems Crossness is closed during 2010 and 2011 except that "We have arranged an Open day for Sunday 3rd October 2010 as part of the London Mayor's event "The Story of London". So
for 2 of the 12 tours you might get a look inside. As far as I can tell the tour doesn't claim that you would be able to go inside. A 3 hour round trip that I have to pay to go on to go to Belvedere marshes to see the outside of a building. No thank you.

And I know I mentioned it on Saturday but it they should know it is a sewerage system - a system of sewers - not a sewage system which I can only suppose is a polite way of referring to a shit system.

Are you sure the tour is accompanied ? I am not 100% convinced it is or if it is then possibly not for 100% of the time.

There's more trains from London Bridge to Abbey Wood (for Crossness) than from Waterloo East. When there's tours of Crossness, a minibus usually gets laid on... but, yeah, it's daft.
