You've got your Garibaldi, of course, you've got your Bourbons, then of course you've got your Peek Freans Trotsky Assortment."

I might sound stupid but how do we get the answer Digestive for number 22. I get the stomach is part of the digestive system but who is the guy and how does he relate to the answer?
Barry, he’s Jony Ive. A designer.
(Still I didn’t get it.) |
Matthew, thanks for the answer, I would never have known. I thought he was some actor or sportsman I didn't recognise.
I thought he was someone called Steve.
Matthew, I guess 22 must be Digest-Ive.
Love it! Keep them coming - I print them off and get my family to solve them at get-togethers!!
Thank you for this. My team's productivity has been ruined for the last hour, but we've enjoyed the diversion.
I'd never heard of a Party Ring - had to Google it to see a picture.
We have now completed phase 1: identifying all the biscuits on the list and have begun phase 2: eating all the biscuits on the list.
DG, no. 14 the pictures are the wrong way round, it's a Bath Oliver, not an Oliver Bath! Not that I've ever seen one or eaten one - where does one purchase these mythical biscuits?
@margaret
Bath Oliver biscuits are far from mythical and are on sale in Sainsbury's and Waitrose. A savoury biscuit eaten with cheese. Look on Wikipedia for the full history of this biscuit. |
@Sara
I know they're not mythical, I was being facetious - I meant lesser spotted - I have never seen them in any of the branches of Sainsburys that I use, nor in the Waitrose by East Croydon station. Perhaps I should get out a bit more? |
18) No way I'd have got that. Wire-wool-pan-scourer-Oh maybe.
Oh. I had number 6 down as a Happy Face.
I was wondering where ginger nut was, and if Jaffa Cakes would make an appearance. Or Arrowroot for that matter. Or Abernethys. Then there are the retired biscuits, like Fruity Jaspers. |
