When a B-Road becomes semi-declassified, how do we know it’s new extent? Is there an online database of B-roads somewhere? Or is it just that road signs get removed?
For a bit of variety, York Hall has also played host to a leg of the World Chase Tag Championships.
The Parnell mini market is on the site of the Lady Franklin pub. The route 8 bus used to terminate on a one way loop just east of here. There was a small LT staff canteen here until the 8 was extended to Bow Church via the A12 to avoid the low bridge at Bow Garage.

My girlfriend lived on Old Ford Road a few doors away from the Lady Franklin, we married in 1967 at St Marks church on Cadogan Terrace. Thanks for the memories.
If ever a road could be described as ‘ schizophrenic’ this must be a prime example. So many changes and alterations to ruin the flow of traffic. How long before the B road designation disappears?

You could take the point of view that stationary is not misspelled but advertising an obvious feature of the shop (I.e. it is not, er, pperipatetic, using a vehicle to carry the shop from place to place)

Not what the shopkeeper intended, of course.
We (pupils of Bishop Challoner School, Stepney) used to have our school prize givings at York Hall. It is for me, therefore, a slightly foreboding place associated with the fear that I might trip up as I crossed the stage to get whatever certificate/book token we were all being given in the 1970s)
The mural on The Lord Morpeth looks rather splendid. I can imagine the Suffragettes meeting there, possibly in the upstairs or back rooms, but seriously doubt the bold claim on their website that it was a "..regular drinking hole for the Sylvia Pankhurst led Suffragettes".
time for the 5th form joke:

A man goes into a shop and asks a salegirl; "excuse me Miss but do you keep stationery?"
"I do right up to the end" she replied,
"then i just go all to pieces".
For considered uninteresting roads, this is a surprisingly interesting series!
The spa in York Hall is very good, and at £26 for 2 hours is excellent value compared to less municipal offerings.

I was completely unaware of the more blood-thirsty history upstairs at the same venue! It's impressive for a local spot to sit alongside major global venues as a must-visit location.
Parnell mini-market even manages to mis-spell “Parnell”
I was hoping this series could continue - so the continuation is great news! Looking forward to the further-flung roads coming in to the picture.
I always think of the Childhood Museum as being on Cambridge Heath Road, just the side of it in Old Ford Road. I have in years past been to events at York Hall nice that the building is still there.
The Men Who Like Railways That Are No Longer There will no doubt be shouting at their screens that you didn't end by mentioning Old Ford station and its neighbouring Railway Arms pub.

H. M. Stationary Office, “eſtabliſhed in 1786”
Another good one, thanks. Not looking at SABRE I am wondering when this journey becomes problematic. Guessing B200+ before this becomes a kickstarter.
I drove along most of the B118, unintentionally, on New Years Day - from the Regent's Canal bridge eastwards. The signpost at the end is illegible to a motorist in the dark, so I made a detour via the stunted dead end beyond Parnell Street.

Thank you for another fascinating description.
