Never understood the attraction of greasy pastry.
From one end of the refreshment budget to another.
I've never been to Greggs but then I've never had a pasty that isn't a proper Cornish one!
I don't know why some people are so snobbish about Greggs. It serves acceptable food at a decent price.
Not a massive pasty person myself, but Greggs' fresh made sandwiches are quite good.
Wenzels!
Does it serve custard slices?
Unusually today's only specific Greggs comment was on Twitter...

"I was very disappointed, thought it was going to be a big space ‘flagship’ store where I could browse a wide range of pastry in a relaxed environment, but it was hot and cramped."

I spent a while looking on the Westminster planning site to see if the blacked out Windows on the first floor were going to be a seating area or something, but it turns out they're due to be part of the fancy hotel above.

Last time I was in that shop unit, it was the Nickelodeon store (which did have an upstairs); previously it was a TV studio. It's had quite a varied history.

Still though, might pop in for a vegan sausage roll next time I'm passing.
