No Piccadilly between Hammersmith and Acton Town and the District is out from West Kensington to Acton Town/Richmond. To get to the Depot from central London, take the Central line to Ealing Broadway and then change onto the District line there.

Yesterday, on the telephone they tried to pretend that I couldn't buy a ticket at the London Transport Museum at Covent Garden. I emailed a letter of complaint to them, and an hour later they responded having decided that I could buy a ticket at Covent Garden after all, so don't take no for an answer.

What a pain. Acton Depot is on my doorstep and I would love to go but every year they do this - and I mean EVERY year - I am always otherwise engaged. Meh.

I'm going too. I'll be the one rubbing myself surreptitiously against the 1960s typography.

It's typical that TfL open up the LTM Depot in Acton for the only time this year, and then close the two easiest ways of getting there.

The Overground station at South Acton isn't too far away either - for those living in North and East London.
