Your 400th birthday really is always on the same day of the week as you were born (under the Gregorian calendar), even allowing for the fiddling around with leap days on years ending in 00. So you have that to look forward to in 344 years.
May I wish you a very Happy 56th Birthday,DG and lots more to come! Especially your birthday in 2049,for if I'm still around I may be waiting for a telegram from whoever. ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽ‰
Happy birthday DG!

I for one hope that youโ€™re still blogging when youโ€™re 84!
I note that you posted 56 minutes before the normal time.

Happy Birthday!
That the 28 year rule works for everyone has only been the case since April 2017, when the last person died who was born before 29th Feb 1900.
Happy Birthday DG and thanks so much for all the pleasure you have brought over the last twelvemonth! However, are you completely sure Tuesday birthdays happen one seventh of the time?

dg writes: Yes.
Who says you don't have a birthday after you've died? I can discuss my grandparents' birthdays (all before 1900), and observe facts about them.
There is also another rule:

Between birth and age 28, it is a very long time between each birthday.
Between 28 and 56 birthdays seem to happen about a year apart - just about right.
Past age 56, the time between each sucessive birthday seems to accelerate . .

Happy Birthday DG, may all your years be exactly one year long :-)

Steve
As someone who recently had their 28th birthday, this post is very relatable. I always make a special note of birthdays that happen on the same day of the week that I was born and this year was no exception.
I love the way you bring out the magic in the ordinary all around us! I was thinking of walking in the footsteps of some of your posts from over the years now that time is endless, and as I too am a Londoner (born, bred and existing). I also love the fact we are the same age (YKWIM) for 6 days every year. Happy Birthday for a few days ago.
