I give you the Tinsley Viaduct, then. Got to be worth double.
With, or without a narrowboat underneath?
patreon.com, surely, not the other one.
Until the construction of dual carraigeway extensions at each end, one to the M25, the other to near Aylesbury, there was a by-pass at Tring known as the M41 (now plain A41).
I would have thought that this was a bit far out for a "West Cross Route"!

Excellent post and links, thanks DG. I've skirted around this whilst spending time on the Pathetic Motorways blog; the first link really gets into the meat of it. Thanks again.
Redbridge roundabout stops Essex riffraff like me from getting to Wanstead and ruining it
I suspect I wouldn't have found the Tate one nearly as interesting as yours!
That boat under Bow Flyover is one of three that will be moored at residential berths in Haslemere Basin. Yours for "just" £215K.

The riding school at Westway did not get its lease renewed by the Trust as they (the Trust) thought the school wasn't "benefitting the whole community". The Trust was said to be considering a skateboard or BMX park. I reckon the fire also has a lot to do with the continued lack of a replacement.
Not forgetting the iconic 'underneath' of the elevated M4 as takes off over Boston Manor Park and the River Brent in West London. Much used as a 'gritty' film location for questionable assignations or for dredging bodies out of the river. Otherwise used for 'urban' pop concerts, much to the consternation of local residents. At least it brings in rental income for the local council.
It's an issue locally that the original community spaces under the elevated Westway have been progressively given over to commercial uses, such gyms, leisure centres, and night clubs, courtesy of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Council. Though after the Grenfell disaster, RBKC are now trying to be more considerate about the needs of their residents in the 'poor' north of the Borough.
In a segue to yesterdays post, some of the green belt land that Seven Kings Water passes through was set aside for the same motorway building programme that gave us these junctions. It would have been used to build a bypass for the A12 through Romford and appropriately would have been called the M12.
Oops! I must have passed the A41(M) signs hundreds of times ...
