What about the lea Valley White water centre, doubt if that would be there if we did not have the Olympics, also I think the mountain bike track at Hadleigh Farm is to be retained for public use.
It sounds as if they scraped together every single project they could think of which happened to be completed around or recently preceding summer 2012. If the South London Line project had been finished on time, you can bet that would have become number 12.

Also, hasn't Tower Bridge been lit up for ages? And what's with the 25 year deadline? What happens after that?

PS: The last digit of "2012" in the "High Street 2012" link dropped off the anchor text.
Could have also added on the transport side:

(1) Various public transport scheme upgrades which were pulled forward.
(2) SCOOTing of a swathe of traffic signals in East London for journey reliability(3)£20M of urban renewal traffic measures funded by the ODA under the OPTEMS programme, including the Ruckholt Road cycle bridge (4) the permanent Ruckholt Road pedestrian bridge to link with East Marsh (5) signalisation of the A12 Old Ford junction (6) refurbishment of Stratford bus station (7) repainting of all Network Rail bridges around the Olympic Park to remove grafitti (8) upgrade of the Greenway route (9) upgrade of street lighting along Ruckholt Road/Lea Interchange/ Eastway (10) the Eastway contraflow cycle scheme (11) the Bow roundabout flyover westbound management scheme and U turn scheme under the flyover to avoid using the roundabout
The Tower Bridge lighting was redesigned in partnership with EDF. They contracted a French company to do the design and work, basically replacing what was there with an array of LED based modern lighting. The contract included that Tower Bridge would buy their electricity from EDF for the period. Perhaps this is the 25 years. There is a 'plack' by dead man's hole to 'commemorate' the opening of the lighting.

As someone who crosses the bridge every day, overall I'm impressed with the new lighting. It is much more subdued and compliments the stone well as opposed to the simple flood lighting of before. Although the lights that have been sunk into the ground at the towers get slippery when its wet. Already saw some people using the uplighting as a photo op
Where's 12 - Lift off - the post Olympic tendancy of Londoners to once again lift strangers' buggies up staircases and engage in conversation
Oh yes, (13) the cycle schemes as a part of the Active Travel cycle and walking initiatives which were ODA funded. As well as the upgrading of the towpaths.
Thanks to the Games, we have the View Tube. The best cafe on top of a major sewer in London.
(14) The new Angel Lane bridge (the old one had a weight restriction, was narrow and had a footway on one-side only)
10) New Homes for Londoners - or at least those who will be able to afford them. While a small part of London will never be the same again the rest of it will be pretty much as before.
