One of the tiny details about this house that I've always liked is that on the shelf are a row of Architect's Journals and he has placed a little red sticker on the spine of each one he is mentioned in. There are a lot of red dots.
I visited this house many years ago and found it facinating, the detail in many of the things he designed is superb, well worth a visit.
It's a lovely house. Plus you can walk up the hill to Hampstead afterwards to visit the other National Trust property in the area - Fenton House. I think there's a combined ticket for both too
I was quite surprised at how small some of the rooms were, especially the nursery.

It's much less accessible, but those who like 2 Willow Road should also try to visit this place:

I've been intending to visit Willow Road for quite a while, I'll try to prioritise a visit. Thanks.
Thanks DG :)
I (a native Hungarian) would have never spotted this by myself.
Hampstead also has the Grade 1 listed Isokon building, another modernist masterpiece, now used for key worker housing
