My heart says: Well done, keeping the traditions of yesteryear alive..
My head says: Highly dubious pastime, indulged by irrepressible showoffs..
But I'm instinctively less Rochester, more Trafalgar Square.
One suspects that Medway would have been even merrier yesterday had Gillingham not lost 2-1 at home.
Love Morris dancers! Hal an Tow has been buzzing round my head for the last few days and will continue for considerably more as I welcome in the start of summer!
None here in Lancaster/Cumbria sadly to dance up the sun tomorrow
You should warn about the motorbikes down in Hastings! My ears are still ringing…
I was there with my lot who came down from Buckinghamshire but we only danced on the Saturday, as some wanted to head to Hastings Jack-In-The-Green, gluttons that they are. We dance in Whites (trousers & shirts) with a few ribbons of yellow & orange and bell pads.

You missed a festival in your summary: Upton-Upon-Severn Folk Festival, uptonfolk.org which happens the same weekend and also has loads of morris sides performing.

A little correction, if you'll pardon me: an organisation that performs morris usually calls themselves a "Side" or maybe sometimes a "Team" but never never a troupe, any more than you'd call it a football troupe.
