A lovely town. I have been there and stopped for a few brief look, but I can't remember when or why. The ridge is visible from miles around.
My old mini once broke down at the top of church street in pouring rain. The old mini water in the distributor issue. Can't say I appreciated the vista ;-) at the time. But a lovely place.
I hadn't realised the town was quite so lovely. I've been there to walk along the ridge of the Malvern Hills but as a result didn't have the time (or energy!) to explore the town too. Looks like it is somewhere I should come back to.
Mildly interesting note: Great Malvern is the furthest place from Brighton that you can reach without changing trains.
I lived there when I was much younger, at the start of my working career. I lived just by the Abbey Hotel in the YMCA. Now what was the YMCA building is now an old persons home. Perhaps I'll end up there too.
