I'm pretty sure that the description of "All the sports that nobody watches for three years and fifty weeks" applies equally well to the olympics.

So if a ticket can be had for £15, and it includes a zone 1-9 travel card, is it worth buying a ticket just for the included travel card? If I understand the TfL website correctly, the travel card would cost £18.60 alone!

Or did I misunderstand something here?

@Mark: that's what I was thinking... want to go from Amersham to Upminster to Epping to Ealing to Morden to Watford in a day? Now only £10 - just you have to be very specific and go on a certain day :P

Now this is something I can get behind. Maybe worth getting a Visa now...

I thoroughly enjoyed the Sydney Paralympics.

Good work DG. Hopefully London will support the Paralympics in the same packed-out way as the Olympics...
