You've had a lot more wet days than we have, 50 miles NE of you.

But, how much rain did it need to get a wet score?

Thunderstorms were forecast for yesterday and we didn't have a drop.

Fascinating, although it proves all the negative things I've been saying about July this year. I'm so glad you kept all this data, just so that I didn't have to...

Ahem. I believe my comment on the original posting was:

"I would say that the chances of it raining on any one particular day weren't 95\\% but 50\\% - i.e. it might rain, and then again it might not.

Oh look, I've been proved 100\\% correct.

I'm so happy for you all.

EPbaB - I'm afraid that's just confirmed your statistical ignorance - nothing more.

July 15-21 was my last week in London and yes, that summed it up!
June was lovely, but as soon as my hubby flew back to the States in early July the weather changed for the rest of my stay!

Looks like a typical British summer to me!

Statistically challenged I may be, but at least I'm not so anal I take weather readings for 40 days.

EPbaB - If you'd prefer to move on and read some other, less anal, blogs elsewhere, I'd be more than pleased.

i find the anal fascinating... and hope it continues...

I don't think it has been a particularly wet summer (well not in North London). Evidence provided and verified by my water butts.

Just to confirm... my survey was "did it rain or not?", and not "did it rain a lot?"
