We've been to the athletics tonight (Fri) and it was packed! The Park seemed much busier than on our previous visits though perhaps that's because then, we entered and exited at non-peak times.

And yes, definitely more British, and of those Brits, way way more multi-cultural...
Shouldn't it be fewer flowers, fewer TV studios, fewer people?
Yes zin it should. He does it deliberately to annoy us ;)

I'm looking forward to going this coming Friday evening - my first and only foray into the Stadium.

Glad to hear that the flowers are holding up.

Also, as per zin92 above, "less/fewer" stuck out of the page at me. Coming from a family where everyone but me is a teacher I get corrected on this all the time!
One of the Paralympic sponsors of disability equipment has taken over one of the hospitality areas near the EDF pavilion. Lot less hospitality space needed for Paralympics - I also noticed at Javelin station in Stratford that there are signs for both the Olympic Park and the Paralympic Park (!)
Being picky, BBC News haven't gone - they're still perched up on the top of Lund Point. The BBC Sport studios on the shipping containers are now lying empty, though Radio 5 Live have taken up residence on the balcony below.

The NBC Today studio has been replaced by a 'try tennis' area.

There are also a lot more digital signs dotted about with updates on which venues your day ticket will get you into.
Post updated with a few more facts, thanks.
Grammar still fewer good than it should be.

Should there be less fewers or fewer lesses?
However... ignore the big yellow day pass signs, because they're never changed very quickly. The signs on the totems are the best source of info.
Think you're being a bit harsh on those who left early. Not everyone lives within walking distance!

One of my work colleagues came up from outside Pompey to watch -- it's a bit of a trek back at any time, let alone after 2200!
We attended the morning athletics session in the stadium. Apart from a prime area in front of the finish line obviously reserved for media, the stadium was full. The 200 metre T44 final (Richard Whitehead's moment of glory) was a last minute addition - hooray. But the most notable moment for me was the audience reaction to Houssein Omar Hassan from Djibouti. The man who finished last in the 1500 metres heat. A lone competitor for at least two laps - the cheers and support from the crowd was phenomenal. A lasting memory indeed. With thousands of extra tickets released for the park itself, it was unbelievable busy in the afternoon, slightly tarnishing an earlier memory. Sometimes things can be too popular for their own good. Great to read all your reports DG.
