My standard multiplication table was 12x12, not 9x9, unless I'm misinterpreting what standard means here.

6, 15 and 42 make a fine triplet, if I'm not wrong.
442 x 82 x 52 = 2025
(5*5) + (20*20) + (40*40)
I found this on the Internet:
No matter where in the world you are or how you write the date, on July 24, 2025 is Pythagorean Theorem Day, celebrated because the sum of the squares of the first two digits (7 and 24) is equal to the square of the year (25).
22 + 202 + 392 = 2025

dg writes: = 1925
Happy New Year!

5^2 + 8^2 + 44^2
30, 31, 8
whoops that’s 1925
20^2 + 28^2 + 29^2 = 400 + 784 + 841 = 2025
The count of ten different ways assumes you are not allowing zero as a square number, and that the three square numbers are all different.
As ever, stuff I didn't know I didn't know. And won't remember. HNY
HNY DG. 16,20,37
Happy New Year.

Am I allowed to say that without contributing a mathematical titbit?
A maths lesson, and term has not started yet.
4^2 + 28^2 + 35^2
I'm with you Frank F!!
Happy New Year everyone!
I'm now a little disturbed, given that 1936 was a year of three monarchs. I'm hoping that won't be on the horizon again.
If anybody else is raising an eyebrow at the claim that Mathematically it's always true that 1³+2³+3³+...+n³ = (1+2+3+...+n)² then here's a proof by induction of it.
13^2 + 16^2 + 40^2
The next time a year will be the square of the sum of its left and right halves will be in exactly a thousand years from now, since 3025 = (30 + 25) squared.

Such numbers (or rather, their square roots) are termed Kaprekar numbers.
8^2 + 19^2 + 40^2
15^2 + 30^2 + 30^2 = 225 + 900 + 900 = 2025

Is that allowed given that it uses 30 twice?
6,30 and 33
That's the lot (hopefully)!

Just to prove this blog has the best readers :)
What about 20 20,35 if15,30,30 is allowed?

dg sighs: missed that one, cheers!
0 squared, 27 squared, 36 squared
...the reason I majored in English Lit.
:)
Another 2025 maths peculiarity for you.

45 × 45 = 2025

...and if you add one to each of those digits you get...

56 × 56 = 3136

...which is also correct!
Brilliant! ..but my stupidity means I don't understand any of it. Nevertheless, a very happy new year to you and all your readers.
